I believe that good translation should read as an original piece of writing. As a former teacher of Czech language and literature I developed an eye for detail and also understanding of different styles in language which I can implement in my work.
Furthermore, I live in the country of my source language, and this allows me to be in touch with written and spoken form of English on a daily basis. That eventually means that I am familiar with many forms and nuances of the language and my translations capture not only the exact meaning but also the spirit of the originals.
